Hello, I’m Shoshana Finn, founder of Back To Eden Eco Shop & Healthy Living Directory. I have over 20 years of experience as a Designer, Stylist, Creative Director, Photo Shoot Production for fashion campaigns, magazines and businesses in New York, Miami, and Montreal. I’ve built all my business websites, portfolios, blogs on my own with no previous training but just a will and determination to learn and creatively express myself.
I encourage all Artisans & Holistic Practitioners, Bloggers, Herbologists, Environmentalist, Activists or anyone with an important message or products to set up a beautiful website for yourself and let your messages travel to many and make a true difference.
My strength as a creative artist has lead me to wish to help others with sustainable products and messages – get up and running and Im happy to teach those that want to learn to do it themselves just as I am happy to work with the person who doesn’t have the time and wishes to delegate the project at hand.
ABOUT BACK TO EDEN
The creation of Back To Eden has been an amazing journey for me. It has allowed my love of Nature, the Arts and Truth to all come together. My goal is to inspire and enable others to explore the magnificent gifts that Mother Nature has given us.
Since ancient times people worldwide from all cultures and tribes have been using plants, flowers and Herbs to support Hygiene, Beauty, and Health. Yet, many of us in our western culture have lost that inherent connection with our natural environment since the emergence of western medicine and big pharmaceutical corporations have dominated the public mindset.
Fortunately Natural Medicine has begun to make its comeback in the Western world. People are once again curious about traditional remedies: what their ancestors used once upon a time and what other cultures are using. With this new mindset, people are exploring Herbs and Teas for healing and searching for non-toxic alternatives to the harsh chemicals we have been trained to ingest.
I’ve designed each product in my Healing Herbs Collection to include easy to read labels that share the magical rejuvenating benefits of each herb in order to encourage others to use wellness herbs more often to treat their ailments naturally.
On the side I offer CREATIVE DESIGN SERVICES to: Artisans, Holistic Practitioners, Non Profit Organizations & Small Businesses with Meaningful Products & Messages.
TEN CREATIVITY PRINCIPLES:
Creativity is the natural order of life. Life is energy; pure creative energy.
There is an underlying, in-dwelling creative force infusing all of life-including ourselves.
When we open ourselves to our creativity, we open ourselves to the creator’s creativity within us and our lives.
We are, ourselves, creations, and we, in turn, are meant to continue creativity by being creative ourselves.
Creativity is the Great Spirit’s gift to us. Using our creativity is our gift back to the great creator.
The refusal to be creative is self-will and is counter to our true nature.
When we open ourselves to exploring our creativity, we open ourselves to the great spirit of the universe.
As we open our creative channel to the creator, many gentle but powerful changes are to be expected.
It is safe to open ourselves up to greater and greater creativity.
Our creative dreams and yearnings come from a divine source. As we move toward our dreams, we move toward divinity.
~ Adapted from the Artist’s Way
Creativity is a powerful way to celebrate who we are. It is a spiritual energy that nourishes our vitality. It is a way to replace negative thinking with positive action. Every one of us is brimming with imagination, but it often takes practice to find it and put it to use. Yet anything we do in a new way can be creative – building a bookcase, trying a new seasoning on a vegetable, taking a new approach to handling finances, finger painting, problem-solving, tapping out a rhythm on a table top. Creative energy is within us and all around us, whether we are writing a masterpiece, or folding the laundry. Every original act asserts our commitment to living. When we create, we plant ourselves firmly in the moment and teach ourselves that what we do matters. -Anonymous
